Dick Frizzell’s studies at Canterbury University School of Art in the early 1960s were followed by eight years working in advertising as a commercial artist.  During this time the traditional boundaries between ‘fine art’ and graphic design were becoming blurred by the Pop Art revolution instigated by Andy Warhol.
